Manufactured from solid brass extrusions for both exceptional strength and precision tolerances, Baldwin hinges are individually machined from a solid brass bar resulting in a high quality hinge with increased wear performance. Each hinge is beveled on the inside leaf to obtain a perfect fit when closed.

Ball Bearing Hinge: Ball bearing hinges are designed to handle the extra stress brought on by high traffic doorways. The greased bearings reduce the rotational friction extending the life of a hinge in heavy use situations. These hinges tend to be more durable than standard, or plain bearing hinges.
Material - Solid Brass: Solid brass is made from copper and zinc and is prized for its resilience, durability, and beauty. Solid brass can always be polished back to its original sheen and is highly resistant to rusting. Solid brass is often available in finishes that other hinge materials are not.
Mounting: The standard corners for mortised door hinges are 1/4" radius, 5/8" radius and square corner. It is recommended that three hinges be used on doors up to and including 7.5 feet with one additional hinge for each additional 2.5 feet. Make sure you check your current hinges before making a purchase.

Lifetime LIMITED WARRANTY: Each Baldwin product has been thoroughly inspected to determine that it is in accordance with Baldwin’s high quality standards. Baldwin warrants to each of its applicable direct customers that subject to the contents of the headings of these Conditions of Sale, RETURNED GOODS and STANDARDS OF EXCELLENCE, each Baldwin product shall be free from mechanical defects (and each product with The Lifetime™ Finish from Baldwin® shall be free from tarnishing, flaking, pitting, and discoloration) at time of delivery to the applicable direct customer and for the lifetime of the applicable product or for as long as the direct customer owns the product. As Baldwin’s direct customer’s exclusive remedy, Baldwin will, at its option, repair or replace any Baldwin product which is mechanically defective. If a Baldwin product which is the same as the Baldwin product covered by this warranty has been discontinued at the time of repair or replacement or if Baldwin determines, in its sole discretion, that such repair or replacement is inappropriate, Baldwin reserves the right to refund the original purchase price of the defective Baldwin product. This warranty is not intended to be a consumer warranty, is exclusively for the benefit of Baldwin’s applicable direct customer and shall not be transferable.
Except as expressly provided in this warranty to the contrary, (a) BALDWIN MAKES NO, AND DISCLAIMS ALL, WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS AND GUARANTEES (WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY), INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND(b) BALDWIN SHALL NOT BE OBLIGATED OR LIABLE FOR LABOR OR OTHER COSTS RELATED TO INSTALLATION, REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OR FOR LOSS OF, OR DAMAGE TO, ANY MATERIAL WHICH IS NOT SOLD BY BALDWIN. Each of Baldwin’s direct customers shall receive any claims and take delivery of any allegedly defective Baldwin products from the consumers and shall communicate and otherwise cooperate in a reasonable manner with Baldwin concerning the administration, processing and remedying of such claims, including, but not limited to, delivering repaired or replacement Baldwin products or, in the appropriate case, purchase price refunds to consumers.
