4 Questions from the Community
what is this for?
What is this apron used for and why is it necessary with the installation of a evolution whirlpool tub?
A. Thank you for your question. The American Standard 9271.019 is apron that hides the guts of the evolution system on the outside of the tub on the side that is facing toward the room. Not all Evolution whirlpools need an additional apron purchased as some are accompanied in the origional purchase.
how wide is this tub
A. The American Standard 9271.019 is just the tub apron itself for select 6 foot American Standard tubs in their Evolution Collection. We would need to know what model bath tub you are interested in to determine what it's width would be, as this is just the tub apron that covers the guts on the front side of a tub when the tub is set on the floor and not sunk into the floor.
How is the apron installed?
