      A. The American Standard 6032Y1.ST-R only includes the base. Walls are a separate part.

    • Can you install grab bars on this product?

      A. You can install Grab Bars through these Shower Walls, but take care to seal them properly to avoid leaking. Please also be advised that this product is the Shower Base only, you will want to look at American Standard 6032Y1.SW for the entire Wall Kit.

    • Does this shower come in 48" width

      A. While this particular product does not come in a 48" length, you could combine the American Standard 4834Y1.SW Shower Wall Set with the American Standard 4834Y1.ST Shower Base for a 48" x 34" shower setup.

    • I am confused. The picture shown is for a left pan. Is this pan a direct replacement for an existing tub? Will the drain align?

      A. The American Standard 6032Y1.ST-R is a Shower base. It is a right drain we use generic pictures sometimes so it's important to read the description. This shower base could replace your existing tub so long as the drain hole measurements match up.

    • Are there shower doors made for this unit?

      A. The American Standard 6032Y1.ST-R does have shower doors that work with the unit. The suggested Shower Door for use with this kit is the 6000Y1STE5.213. However, it will also work with the American Standard AM00390.434, AM00390.400.AM00390.422.

    • Does this unit include a drain?

      A. Unfortunately the American Standard 6032Y1.ST-R does not come with a Drain asswmbly kit. It does however come with a drain strainer. We suggest using Kohler K-9135 Round Shower Drain.

    • Where is the drain hole located on this?

      A. If you are facing the American Standard 6032Y1.ST-R from in front of the shower, drain hole is 9" from the right wall and 15" forward from the back hole.

      A. The American Standard 6032Y1.ST-R is nice but for a few hundred dollars more you have the 62030100, wich has all of the walls.

    • Can this be used with a tiled wall? Or is it only intended for use with the shower wall sets? The installation guide shown appears to be for only shower walls, not the base.

      A. The American Standard 6032Y1.ST-R is designed to be used with their wall kits. They do not recommend other installation types.

    American Standard Faucet Lifetime Function and Finish Limited Warranty American-Standard warrants this product to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns their home. American-Standard will provide, free of charge, at it’s sole option, replacement part(s) or product (or if no longer available, a comparable product) to replace those which have proven defective in materials or workmanship. Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) from the original consumer purchaser must be made available to American-Standard for all limited warranty claims. This limited warranty is non transferable. It does not apply in the event of product damage due to the use of other than genuine American-Standard replacement parts, installation error, abuse, misuse, or improper care and maintenance (whether performed by a plumber, contractor, service provider or member of the purchaser’s household). The limited warranty excludes damage due to aggressive air or water conditions, or harsh or abrasive cleaners and/or materials. This limited warranty excludes all industrial, commercial and business usage, whose purchasers are hereby extended a two year limited warranty (with the exception of solenoid valves and other electronic components which carry a one year limited warranty) applying to all other terms of this limited warranty except duration.
