      A. No the American Standard 6032Y1.ST-L does not come with the drain assembly it is purchased separately. You can buy it in polished brass (751819-099) or satin 751819-295).

    • I want the opening to be the 32" side furthest away from the drain - the other 3 sides I wish to enclose and tile... will this base work for that application?

      A. This item is designed to have the opening on the front side (as pictured) where there is lower lift than the other three sides. If you intend to use the far side from the drain as the entrance, you will need to have your contractor build an entrance lip on that end on the outside of the pan for support and proper installation. The lengthwise side that is intended to be the entrance side will have to be sealed agaisnt your tile. It can be done, but is not the intentional installation.

    • Is a shower curtain adequate for this unit?

      A. Thank you for your question. The American Standard 6032Y1.ST-L is only 5 inches tall around the receptor so in my opinion a shower curtain probably would be ok, but it is designed to have glass or acrylic shower walls.

      A. The American Standard 6032Y1.ST-L does not make a shower base that large.

      A. When installing the American Standard 6032Y1.ST-L the floor must be clean, smooth, and level (check with level). Sub floor must be installed. Do not install shower base on open floor joists.

    • I need to know the placement of the drain from the back wall to center and from the left wall to center?

      A. The American Standard 6032Y1.ST-L has a drain on the Left side. The drain center is 9" from the left side and 15" from the back. You can check out the specification on the installation guide to see these measurements.

    American Standard Faucet Lifetime Function and Finish Limited Warranty American-Standard warrants this product to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns their home. American-Standard will provide, free of charge, at it’s sole option, replacement part(s) or product (or if no longer available, a comparable product) to replace those which have proven defective in materials or workmanship. Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) from the original consumer purchaser must be made available to American-Standard for all limited warranty claims. This limited warranty is non transferable. It does not apply in the event of product damage due to the use of other than genuine American-Standard replacement parts, installation error, abuse, misuse, or improper care and maintenance (whether performed by a plumber, contractor, service provider or member of the purchaser’s household). The limited warranty excludes damage due to aggressive air or water conditions, or harsh or abrasive cleaners and/or materials. This limited warranty excludes all industrial, commercial and business usage, whose purchasers are hereby extended a two year limited warranty (with the exception of solenoid valves and other electronic components which carry a one year limited warranty) applying to all other terms of this limited warranty except duration.
