AS 3 Flushing:

  • 3” flush valve – The flush starts with a flushing system that employs a 3” valve opening, allowing water to enter the bowl at a much faster rate than the industry standard 2” flush valve. Controlled by a flapper that is engineered to be chemical-resistant, American Standard flushing systems are highly regarded for their durability.
  • 360 degree cleaning – Water entering the bowl does so in a sweeping 360-degree motion. This is designed to help completely clear the bowl, even while using less water.
  • Powerful siphoning water jet – A perfectly positioned water jet captures the circular flow of water for optimal performance with minimal energy loss (water doesn’t hit a flat spot and slow down). As waste and water exit, they are siphoned into the trapway for an unmatched push/pull one-two punch.
  • 2” fully glazed trapway – Waste and water exit the toilet through a 2” trapway that is fully glazed, which seals it and provides for a smooth surface that waste can in no way cling to.

Other Technologies / Benefits:

  • Concealed Trapway – Concealed trapways make a remarkable difference in the pose of a toilet. By covering the waste chute, they streamline the appearance for a look that fits well in both traditional and modern bathrooms. They also serve the functional purpose of eliminating resting spots for hair and dust. Included on the sides are ports (with color-matched caps) to allow access to the floor bolts.
  • Dual Flush – The Dual Flush feature makes water conservation easy, while also making the statement that you’ve got the latest in toilet technology.  The tank “lever” is actually a dual-button actuator, mounted on the top of the toilet, each button operating independent flush valves within the tank.  For liquids, use the left button for a 1.0 gallon flush. For solids, use the right button for a 1.6 gallon flush.
  • Everclean Surface – Using the antimicrobial properties of silver (the precious metal), Everclean Surfaces inhibit the growth of bacteria, mold, and mildew. The super smooth, baked-in, mirror-like surface not only eliminates unsightly rings, but also helps repel toilet messes.
  • PowerWash Rim – During each flush, a measured amount of water travels within an inner-rim channel to be evenly dispersed throughout the bowl. PowerWash rims are surprisingly good at completely clearing out the bowl after each use.
  • Right Height – Right Height bowls lift the sitting-height an additional 1.5 inches off the ground for a more comfortable seated position that is easier to get in and out of. This feature is particularly well liked by men, taller women, and the elderly.
  • Slow-Close Seat – Similar to the operation of a seat belt, Slow-Close seats allow users to lift and close the seat normally, with no resistance, but should the seat suddenly drop, a special mechanism “catches” it then slowly closes it. Both the seat and lid have this feature.

Product Specifications:

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's a toilet...not a good one. We chose this for the dual flush feature to conserve water. Our plumber installed it, that was the easy part. The toilet never stopped running after installation. We put in all new internal parts--then it stopped running. Then we noticed when the toilet in the other bathroom was flushed, this toilet did a short "burst" type of run. Like someone turned the facet on full blast, then shut it off. I called Facet Direct and spoke with Mandy. She's one of the most kind and patient people on earth, as she talked me through removing another part they'd send me to replace--to try to get the toilet from the sudden bursting sound. The part arrived as she promised, we replaced the part, and it's still doing the bursting. I haven't called her back but did call American Standard and dealt with another gal, not nearly as helpful (or kind) as Mandy. She told me it was our roof stack causing this. The toilet this toilet replaced, never made a sound when the other one flushed. The roof stack was the same. No help from her, or concern we've got over $1,000.00 wrapped up in a toilet and it doesn't function correctly. I'll give Mandy one more call and let her know we replaced the part she'd kindly sent. Surely, there will be another call to the plumber too. I cannot recommend this toilet in good faith.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seamless Beatuy Purchased the American Standard Boulevard toilet for its dual flush capability. Toilet does what it says it would which is saving ton of water every flush. Its seamless one-piece design with a smooth sides are great plus as it looks beautiful. The EverClean surface makes cleaning very easy considering the amount of traffic our bathroom received. Great product all around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Mercedes Benz S-class of toilets! We recently performed a high-end remodel of our entire home. My only regret is that this was the last toilet we bought. I wish I'd known how great it is so that it could have been the first, second and third toilet we bought. I got it for the looks, which are incredible, but the function is other-worldly. We have a TOTO that frequently requires many flushes....and a toilet brush. The AS Boulevard works better than the 3.6g flusher it replaced! Never needs a second flush...and it always looks like the maid just came. Clean. The seat, buttons, etc...all feel well engineered / first class. Much nicer than any of our other toilets for about the same price. This is the finest toilet I have ever seen or used. I only wish I'd discovered it a year ago (I'm debating ripping out my six month old TOTO and replacing it with another AS toilet). I will add that the online image does not do this toilet justice. It looks good online, but it looks magnificent live. If a toilet can have a "pressence," this one does.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sophisticated Look I just had this installed in my master bath. This toilet replaced an old 3.5 gallon toilet. I was nervous about the dual flush but am trying to be water savings aware. It works great! My husband and I have had no problems with the flush and it looks great in our bathroom! We are very happy with the purchase.
