what is the comfortable lumbar support? I the surface of the bottom of the tub flat and smooth or is there some kind of seat area called the lumbar support?
How much does this bathtub weigh? What kind of additional floor support is needed to accommodate it?
A. The American Standard 2696.102 weighs approximately 440 pounds. The tub requires an unfinished subfloor for installation; this is a standard subfloor installation and no extra precautions are required for support. You should consult with your contractor to ensure you have adequate support.
where do you get a shower walls for this tub size?
A. I'm sorry, we don't carry any shower walls that fit the American Standard 2696.102's 66". There are some shower modules that are close in size but I'm not sure what dimensions would work for you. You might want to browse through shower walls at 60 inches and above and start there. I hope this helps.
do any cast iron tubs come without non-slip surface
Does this tub come in a deeper model? Does American Standard make a cast 5.5 foot cast iron tub that is deeper than 16 inches?
Does TOTO's "colonial white" or "cotton" match best with American Standard's "white"?
