Product Technologies / Benefits:

  • Lifetime warranty: As an American company, American Standard showers are built tough. Their products live longer in one place than most people do. Drip-free ceramic disc valves, high-grade lead-free brass alloys, and turbine shower heads cables name just a few of the features which make American Standard shower components the industry’s longest lasting. To back this up, all American Standard showers are covered under a lifetime warranty.
  • Indestructible Finishes: Through employing only the best finishing practices, such as physical vapor deposition, American Standard faucet finishes are some of the strongest in the industry. When the finish is actually incorporated into the faucet, rather than a coating on the outside, the result is a flawless appearance that eliminates tarnishing, pitting, and peeling while hiding scratches. For this reason, American Standard faucet finishes are fully covered under the lifetime warranty.

Product Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice, but about 3-4 inches too short. I have a standard size shower stall and the shower arm extends out 12 inches from the wall, which is ok. Extending another 3-4 inches, to about 16 inches from the wall, and my rain shower head would be positioned directly above the drain, which puts the person taking a shower directly in the center of the shower stall. But with only a 12 inch extension from the wall, showering takes place off center from the drain towards the faucet side of the shower. Faucet Direct's service is very good. My order arrived ahead of schedule and all items were brand new and neatly packed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My installation-Great product Bought this shower arm with the American Standard 1660.683 Modern Single Function Shower Head Satin Nickel. The fit was perfect and installation very simple. I would have liked to use an arm 16" in length but felt the weight of the shower head would be too much. After installing I think I was overly cautious however, over time, there might have been a lot of flexing/pressure on the wall mounting as different users adjust the fully mobile shower head to their needs so all in all I'm satisfied with the length.
