Product Technologies / Benefits:

  • FloWise Turbine Technology: As the 2012 EPA WaterSense partner of the year, American Standard shower faucets are acclaimed for saving water without sacrificing performance. Through the use of patented turbine technology, which pressurizes and spins the water into a satisfying, warm, and invigorating spray, FloWise showers save 40% more water than other brands/models. When costs of heated water are factored in, these showers easily pay for themselves throughout the life of their use.
  • Lifetime warranty: As an American company, American Standard showers are built tough. Their products live longer in one place than most people do. Drip-free ceramic disc valves, high-grade lead-free brass alloys, and turbine shower heads cables name just a few of the features which make American Standard shower components the industry’s longest lasting. To back this up, all American Standard showers are covered under a lifetime warranty.
  • Indestructible Finishes: Through employing only the best finishing practices, such as physical vapor deposition, American Standard faucet finishes are some of the strongest in the industry. When the finish is actually incorporated into the faucet, rather than a coating on the outside, the result is a flawless appearance that eliminates tarnishing, pitting, and peeling while hiding scratches. For this reason, American Standard faucet finishes are fully covered under the lifetime warranty.

Product Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Body Spray It's difficult if not impossible to replace a masaging jet in a tub with a body spray in a shower. This body spray comes close. It has an adjustable nozzle that not only angles the spray toward you but narrows the spray for the massaging effect that a tub jet provides. Not only that, the nozzle disappears when the water is turned off, retracting into it's housing for an overall flat look and finish. Plus it works with other brand shower systems allowing you to fine tune your shower for that personal touch. Just make sure you have a good plumber or you are handy with building a maze of pipes from your diverter valve to operate the body sprays. One more suggestion, don't add too many body spays unless you have a lot of water pressure. Great look, great finish and versitility. 5 out of 5 stars in my book.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Powerful spray I installed 4 of these in a shower and was told by American Standard Tech Help that I couldn't get these to work with 70 psi and a 1/2" copper pipe. WRONG! My bath piping is 1/2" copper which I connected to the temp. regulator and on/off valve . From there I used 3/4" PEX to the AS 3 way diverter. From the diverter I selected the "tub" outlet to feed the balance loop for the 4 body spray heads. These will blow you out of the shower. I have to lower the volume of water to make these comfortable. Once the water is on and the heads extend out from the wall, you can swivel them slightly to change the direction and then rotate the heads to change the spray pattern. Installing these is straight forward but you really have to make sure that you know where your finished wall will be. There is only a 1/4" tolerance for mounting. More importantly is that if you are going with a stone, ceramic or cultured marble bath surround the tolerance for the hole is also very close. The sealing gasket is very narrow and a very small error in cutting the hole can cause the sealing gasket to allow water into the wall.
