Good idea but way too oversized
Like the idea, which is to give a relatively shallow tub a little extra depth for bathing. The push button drain is cool, too. HOWEVER, the overflow is ridiculously, even cartoonishly, large--squarish and sticks out. Looks way too oversized in the smallish tubs for which its purpose best suits it.

TOO LARGE
This was recommended by you website for the tub that I purchased elsewhere, however, you sell the same tub. The part that covers the punch out the the faucet would go into instead of the wall is TOO BIG and looks really dumb.
I did nt return it b/c the project was already in progress and it worked, just would have wanted something a little less obvious for that location.

deep water
My clients like deep soaking tubs. It is hard to find tubs with more than 12-14 inches of depth at all. If you can find one deeper, you usually have a choice of only one or two as far as the other factors go: material, style, etc. What this item does is it opens the door to more choices. you can get deep water (about 2" or more) in any tub. As far as the item itself, it is well made, fits well, and is very simple and reliable.

Acceptable but not that good looking
This drain is unique in that it moves the overflow from the bottom of the cap to the top of the cap. This essentially increases the water level in the bathtub.
However, the overflow cap bulges out quite a bit into the tub. And the logo "American Standard" is very prominent on the overflow cap.
The popup drain is nice but it's large.
The pipes are all plastic.
The combination of the look/high price/and plastic led me to return this item.

American Standard Faucet Lifetime Function and Finish Limited Warranty American-Standard warrants this product to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns their home. American-Standard will provide, free of charge, at it’s sole option, replacement part(s) or product (or if no longer available, a comparable product) to replace those which have proven defective in materials or workmanship. Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) from the original consumer purchaser must be made available to American-Standard for all limited warranty claims. This limited warranty is non transferable. It does not apply in the event of product damage due to the use of other than genuine American-Standard replacement parts, installation error, abuse, misuse, or improper care and maintenance (whether performed by a plumber, contractor, service provider or member of the purchaser’s household). The limited warranty excludes damage due to aggressive air or water conditions, or harsh or abrasive cleaners and/or materials.
