  • Can I just put this over the hole where my 18 X 13.5 undermount sink was, or do I need to do modification to the counter?

    A. The bowl for the American Standard 0621.001 Studio 23" Lavatory Vessel with Single Faucet Hole measures 20 1/4" x 13 3/16" x 2". Given the dimensions you have provided for your existing hole, you would have to modify the counter if you wanted to put in this sink.

    A. The American Standard 0621.001 outter dimensions are: 23 1/8"x 18 1/2". There is a temple that will come with the packaging for a cut out for the counter top.

  • Does the overflow hole metal piece, shown in silver, come in oil rubbed bonze . Also what about the drain plug in ORB too?

    A. Unfortunately the overflow cover offered by American Standard is not available in the ORB finish but you can try the Kohler option (K-4061 or K-4062).

  • Can I build my own cabinet and just set this on top or do I need to do anything special. Is it made to just sit on top of a cabinet

    A. The American Standard 0621.001 is pre-cut for the piece of furniture recommended and wouldn't be covered under warranty for being set on another cabinet, it is not recommended.

Love this sink We were looking at a pedestal sink and vanity at Restoration Hardware. It was $1200. I searched for a sink with as close to a match as that one, found this sink and my husband built the base. So, we got a very handsome sink and vanity for about 30% of what the one at Resto would have cost us. This sink is really nice and stylish. One word of caution...the spec sheet is off on the measurments by about 2 inches on the width. So, do not cut stone, or build any vanity to go under it until you receive it. December 22, 2009

American Standard Lifetime Limited Warranty

American Standard Faucet Lifetime Function and Finish Limited Warranty American-Standard warrants this product to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns their home. American-Standard will provide, free of charge, at it’s sole option, replacement part(s) or product (or if no longer available, a comparable product) to replace those which have proven defective in materials or workmanship. Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) from the original consumer purchaser must be made available to American-Standard for all limited warranty claims. This limited warranty is non transferable. It does not apply in the event of product damage due to the use of other than genuine American-Standard replacement parts, installation error, abuse, misuse, or improper care and maintenance (whether performed by a plumber, contractor, service provider or member of the purchaser’s household). The limited warranty excludes damage due to aggressive air or water conditions, or harsh or abrasive cleaners and/or materials. This limited warranty excludes all industrial, commercial and business usage, whose purchasers are hereby extended a two year limited warranty (with the exception of solenoid valves and other electronic components which carry a one year limited warranty) applying to all other terms of this limited warranty except duration. This limited warranty does not cover labor charges incurred and/or damages sustained in installation, repair or replacement, nor incidental or consequential damages, all of which are expressly disclaimed.
