Air King EsDQ
The ESDQ Series fills a much needed energy efficient solution in the marketplace for under cabinet kitchen ventilation, placing Air King at the forefront of ENERGY STAR ventilation. The ESDQ Series features an electronically balanced twin centrifugal blower with a three-speed control switch. At an operating speed of 150 CFM, the range hood's sound level is only slightly more than a quiet running refrigerator but still delivers enough ventilation for typical cooking. For times when additional ventilation is required the high speed of 270 CFM can handle the task.

Is the ESDQ130 series products under 5 years manufacture warranty?
A. Yes, the Air King ESDQ130 falls under Air Kings 5 year limited warranty. The warranty does not cover any labor or shipping costs or the cost of replacement components as part of routine maintenance. You must also be the original consumer of the product and be able to present the original bill of sale. Additional details of the warranty can be located in the installation instructions or by contacting Air King.

Is the underside of this range hood open or is it flush with its sides? In other words is the underside boxed in or enclosed?

What is the minimum and maximum inches needed between the stove and hood?

My understanding is the 3-1/2 x 10 inch rectangular duct can be transitioned to a 6-inch diameter round. Can it handle being run in 6-inch and then reduced to 4-inch diameter for last 2 feet of a 8-foot total duct run? There's an existing, older hood vent duct that's 4 in. diameter going through the roof that I'd like to use.

WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS: This product is warranted against defects in workmanship and/or materials.
HOW LONG THIS WARRANTY LASTS: This warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the product and lasts for one (1) year from the date of original purchase or until the original purchaser of the product sells or transfers the product, whichever first occurs.
WHAT AIR KING WILL DO: During the warranty period, Air King will, at its sole option, repair or replace any part or parts that prove to be defective or replace the whole product with the same or comparable model.
WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER: This warranty does not apply if the product was damaged or failed because of accident, improper handling or operation, shipping damage, abuse, misuse, unauthorized repairs made or attempted. This warranty does not cover shipping costs for the return of products to Air King for repair or replacement. Air King will pay return shipping charges from Air King following warranty repairs or replacement.
