    A. The charcoal filter available for the Air King AV121 range hood is the Air King RF-34S.

  • Could I convert this so that it would plug into an existing socket rather than being hardwired?

    A. It's possible to wire this to a duplex plug for an existing outlet, though you may run into issues due to the placement of the electrical knockouts (check Figure 4 in the Installation Guide linked below the product). Just make sure to adhere to the electrical code when performing the installation.

    A. The AD series is ductless and the AV series can actually be dustless or ducted.

    A. The AD series is completely ductless and the AV series can actually be either, ducted or ductless.

    A. The recommended distance between the cooktop and hood for The Air King AV121 is 24" to 30".

Reliable company and product! We resently remodled our apartment and had to replace and old electric stove. The problem was .... we only had room for a 21 inch stove. We were able to find that here in Hawaii but finding a 21 inch ductless ranch hood was impossible. That is where Venting Direct came in. We are so greatful that they would ship to us and we received the hood in just a few days even all the way across the pacific. Fantastic job! The ranch hood fit great under the cabinet and was very easy to install. I love having a nice light directly over the stove and it sucks away the smoke and steam from whatever we cook. It's a great product and company to deal with. You can't go wrong! We plan on doing a lot more shopping with them! July 11, 2008

EFFECTIVE FOR ALL AIR KING PRODUCTS SOLD AFTER JANUARY 1ST 2010

WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS: This product is warranted against defects in workmanship and/or materials.

HOW LONG THIS WARRANTY LASTS: This warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the product and lasts for one (1) year from the date of original purchase or until the original purchaser of the product sells or transfers the product, whichever first occurs.

WHAT AIR KING WILL DO: During the warranty period, Air King will, at its sole option, repair or replace any part or parts that prove to be defective or replace the whole product with the same or comparable model.

WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER: This warranty does not apply if the product was damaged or failed because of accident, improper handling or operation, shipping damage, abuse, misuse, unauthorized repairs made or attempted. This warranty does not cover shipping costs for the return of products to Air King for repair or replacement. Air King will pay return shipping charges from Air King following warranty repairs or replacement.
