Exhaust Fan Control Switch with Simultaneous Delay Timer

The exhaust fan control switch has a delay timer that turns the fan and light on simultaneously while offering an automatic delay timer that allows the user to turn the light off while the fan continues to operate for an additional preset time before automatically turning off. The duration of operation time for the fan can be adjusted from 1 to 60 minutes.

Excellent switch, but not as good as it used to be I bought a couple of these switches several years ago and they were perfect. The switches I just bought do not have a middle detent "off" position. I think that makes the product not quite as good as it was before. Now, if someone accidentally turns the switch to the on position or just wants the light/fan on for a moment, the fan will remain on for the entire timing cycle. Same is true if you have a power interruption -- the fan comes on for the entire timing cycle. September 9, 2011

Product Doesn't Work I called Air King, no help. Venting Direct got their attention, and after being passed around to 3 people one guy told me exactly how to wire in my situation. The only problem is the product doesn't work. It works as an on-off switch, the timer doesn't work. Venting Direct gets high marks for their assist! August 19, 2009
Good Product These switches work very good. It allows us to help control the humidity in our house by running the vent fan for a set amount of time after showering without having to remember to shut it off. February 7, 2009

good switch installed easily, no ground wire though ?? works fine, was worried it would be loud after reading a review, they must have gotten a defective one, mine is very quiet, no noise at all. April 23, 2008
Air King Fan timer I was able to install this switch/timer myself in about 20 minutes. It fits into your electrical box where the old switch sits. The tools I used were a screwdriver and a pair of needle nose pliers. Performs as advertised and I am happy with the unit. November 6, 2007

WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS: This product is warranted against defects in workmanship and/or materials.

HOW LONG THIS WARRANTY LASTS: This warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the product and lasts for one (1) year from the date of original purchase or until the original purchaser of the product sells or transfers the product, whichever first occurs.

WHAT AIR KING WILL DO: During the warranty period, Air King will, at its sole option, repair or replace any part or parts that prove to be defective or replace the whole product with the same or comparable model.

WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER: This warranty does not apply if the product was damaged or failed because of accident, improper handling or operation, shipping damage, abuse, misuse, unauthorized repairs made or attempted. This warranty does not cover shipping costs for the return of products to Air King for repair or replacement. Air King will pay return shipping charges from Air King following warranty repairs or replacement.
